Our PAIA and POPIA Manual

Lucky Isibaya (Pty) Ltd publishes a combined PAIA and POPIA Manual in terms of the Promotion of Access to Information Act of 2000 (PAIA) and the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

The Manual sets out:

  • The categories of personal information we process;
  • Your rights of access, objection, correction, and deletion; and
  • The procedures and prescribed forms for exercising those rights.

What we collect:

We collect details you provide when creating an account, purchasing a course, or entering a competition, including: your name, surname, identity number, age, address, contact details, payment information, and (optionally) demographic information such as race or language.

Why we collect it

We use your personal information to:

  • Register your account and deliver digital courses;
  • Administer competitions and process payments;
  • Communicate with you; and
  • Comply with our legal obligations.

Where a purchase grants automatic entry into a promotional competition, personal information necessary for administering that competition is processed in accordance with the Competition Rules.

Marketing

We send marketing messages only with your consent. You can update or withdraw consent anytime through your profile or by clicking "unsubscribe" in our messages and emails.

Sharing

We share information only with trusted service providers (for example, payment gateways or auditors) who are bound by confidentiality and POPIA-compliant agreements.

Security and Retention

We apply appropriate technical and organisational safeguards and keep data only as long as necessary for the purpose collected or as required by law.

Your rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, or object to its processing, by emailing info@luckyisibaya.co.za. Requests will be handled in accordance with Lucky Isibaya's PAIA and POPIA Manual.
